Terms & Conditions

These terms apply between Vitalbodybalance, registered at 14 St Andrews Street, Norwich, NR2 4AE, and the client named in the service quotation. We provide timber furniture assessment, structural joint repair, surface finishing, and on-site timber remediation. We do not provide upholstery re-covering or structural building joinery.

Quotations are prepared based on client descriptions, provided photographs, or preliminary bench inspection. A quotation remains valid for thirty calendar days from transmission. Work begins only upon receipt of written customer acceptance via email or signed quotation. Variations requested during the project will be documented and priced before proceeding.

Workshop projects are completed at our St Andrews Street premises, with turnaround estimates communicated at drop-off. For on-site repairs, the client must grant safe, lighted access and clear working clearance around the piece. We protect surrounding flooring with canvas drop cloths. If an on-site technician cannot work safely due to uncleared hazards, the visit will be rescheduled.

All fees are stated in pounds sterling. Payment in full is due immediately upon handover of the completed item or upon conclusion of an on-site appointment. We accept cash on completion and bank transfer against our issued invoice. We do not accept card payments, card terminals, or payment links. Title to custom timber inserts or fittings passes upon settlement.

Clients may cancel or reschedule a booked workshop collection or home visit without charge up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made under twenty-four hours may incur a forty-pound administrative fee to offset travel scheduling. Custom materials ordered specifically for your project remain payable if already procured.

Vitalbodybalance maintains public liability insurance for on-site attendance and workshop care. While every effort is made to consolidate fragile antique items, we are not liable for intrinsic sub-surface timber rot, active woodworm fragility, or previous defective repairs that fail during normal disassembly. Any quality complaint must be raised in writing within fourteen days of handover for inspection.

These terms and all related service agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree that any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
